Podcast Episode 61: Experimenting with the Science of How She Moms

Whitney Archibald is multi-passionate and bubbling with curiosity. She got married young and was excited to start the big family she had always dreamed of. But she and her husband were forced to put those plans on hold as they struggled with infertility for five years. When she finally became pregnant, she was elated. And while she had longed for motherhood, she still found herself surprised by all that the experience had to offer.

Over the years, Whitney supported her husband as he became a surgeon, and they welcomed a total of five children to their family. After a while, though, she felt like she was drowning in all that it takes to manage a home and fulfilling family life. So, she decided to experiment. Each month, she selected one nagging problem to tackle. She would research solutions, interview other mothers about how they handled the situation and then commit to trying out new ideas in her own life. Eventually, she developed this project into a podcast called "How She Moms." You can learn more at howshemoms.com and on Instagram @howshemoms.

And in Ep. 061, I'm sitting down with Whitney to chat about:

  • How she came to let go of imposter syndrome

  • What it was like to become a mom five times over

  • How she and her husband help lighten each other's burden

  • What inspired her to create the podcast "How She Moms"

And so. much. more. Go ahead, and press play to tune in. Trust me, you won't want to miss it.
